Food Diary Week 8
Latest on my food intolerance diary
Here goes my latest food diary, it was a bit heavy on the Gluten Free Sausages this week - but I have to say I do love them. Also had a few tummy issues this week, hence strange evening meal on Tuesday.
Sugar Free & Yeast Free (due to candida diet), intolerant to: gluten, dairy, eggs, some oily fish and cashew nuts.
NB. Also as part of a healthy balanced diet and to avoid energy low’s I am aiming to eat 5 times a day; three main meals and two proper snacks (all of which must contain some protein). Each main meal needs to be eaten slowly with a balance of 1/4 carbs, 1/4 protein and 1/2 vegetables.
So here goes the latest on my food diary:
| Food diary day 1 – Wednesday, 5 August | |
| Breakfast | Puffed Oats with Perfekt Granola, linwood seeds, few punpkin seeds and topped with oatly milk. |
| Snack | Taste test of homemade chocolate raw bar (main incredients coconut oil, cacao and nuts). |
| Lunch | Healthy Falafel served with some Lime Pickle and a salad of lettuce, cucumber, beetroot, tomato & pine nuts. |
| Snack | Taste test of homemade chocolate raw bar (main incredients coconut oil, cacao and nuts). |
| Dinner | Gluten Free Pasta topped with Tomato Pesto, pine nuts and Dairy free parmesan cheese, served with a mixed salad of lettuce, beetroot, cucumber and tomatos. Then soya yoghurt with cacoa powder, spoon of Perfekt Granola and linwood seeds. |

| Food diary day 2 – Thursday, 6 August | |
| Breakfast | Gluten Free Cornflakes, Puffed Oats and linwood seeds topped with oatly milk. |
| Snack | Puffed Oats topped with oatly milk. |
| Lunch | Jacket potato with 1/2 tin of Sugar Free Baked Beans. |
| Snack | An apple with a trail mix of brazil nuts, cacoa nibs and Gluten Free Cornflakes. |
| Dinner | 2 Gluten Free Sausages with red lentils, onion, fennel and tomatos combo. |
| Other | - |
| Food diary day 3 – Friday, 7 August | |
| Breakfast | Gluten Free Cornflakes, Puffed Oats and linwood seeds topped with vanilla rice milk. |
| Snack | Small piece of homemade halva |
| Lunch | Left over 2 Gluten Free Sausages with red lentils, onion, fennel and tomatos combo. |
| Snack | An apple and a few brazil nuts |
| Dinner | Vegetable lasagne made with rice milk white sauce and a salad. |
| Other | - |
| Food diary day 4 – Saturday, 8 August | |
| Breakfast | Gluten Free Cornflakes, Puffed Oats and linwood seeds topped with vanilla rice milk. |
| Snack | Nakd Cocoa Raw Bar and an apple |
| Lunch | Salad with houmous and tinned sardines and 2 oat cakes and a few peanuts. |
| Snack | - |
| Dinner | BBQ at friends: Steak, corn on the cob, chips, salad, asparagus, grilled tomatoes. Then apple and berry FREE From Crumble. |
| Other | Gin and soda with a squuze of lime and a strawberry. |
| Food diary day 5 – Sunday, 9 August | |
| Breakfast | Gluten Free Cornflakes, Puffed Oats and linwood seeds topped with soya milk. |
| Snack | 2 corn thins with dairy free spread. |
| Lunch | Salad with lettuce, beetroor, pinenuts, tomato and cucumber. With tbsp of houmous and handful of Anglesey Plain crisps. |
| Snack | Soya yoghurt with cacao nibs and dessicated coconut. |
| Dinner | Courgette soup topped with pinenuts and bacon. Then apple and berry FREE From Crumble with soya yoghurt. |
| Other | - |
| Food diary day 6 – Monday, 10 August | |
| Breakfast | Gluten Free Cornflakes, Puffed Oats and linwood seeds topped with soya milk. |
| Snack | Small bowl of Perfekt Granola with Puffed Oats and soya. |
| Lunch | Gluten Free Pasta with pine nuts, tomato and Tomato Pesto. |
| Snack | 1/2 banana and a Fruitus bar. |
| Dinner | 5 oatcakes with dairy free spread and a bannana |
| Other | Mug of hot soya with 100% Pure Cacao and tsp Makuna Honey. |
| Food diary day 7 – Tuesday, 11 August | |
| Breakfast | Green Veggie Juice: Apple, beetroot, ginger and barkley grass. |
| Snack | Fruitus bar |
| Lunch | Prawn salad: lettuce, tomato, 1/2 avocado and a few Anglesey Plain crisps. |
| Snack | Small bowl of Perfekt Granola with Puffed Oats, cacao nibs and soya milk. |
| Dinner | 2 Gluten Free Sausages with lentils: tomato, onion, pepper, fennel and runner beans. Then an apple and 2 oat cakes. |
| Other | Muf of hot soya cocoa. |
NB. In my food diary I have not included all the water, mugs of Ginger tea and Licorice Tea I drink.
