Food Diary Week 7

Sorry its been a while since my last food diary post, so I have a few weeks that I will be catching up on. Hope the updates are still helping with some inspiration for those of you with multiple food intolerance’s like me, I am trying to mix things up with a few new recipes and ideas to inspire so watch this space.

My food restrictions are:
Sugar Free & Yeast Free (due to candida diet), intolerant to: gluten, dairy, eggs, some oily fish and cashew nuts.

NB. Also as part of a healthy balanced diet and to avoid energy low’s I am aiming to eat 5 times a day; three main meals and two proper snacks (all of which must contain some protein). Each main meal needs to be eaten slowly with a balance of 1/4 carbs, 1/4 protein and 1/2 vegetables.

So here goes the latest on my food diary:

Food diary day 1 – Wednesday, 29 July:
Breakfast Puffed rice cereal with a few gluten free cornflakes, mixed seeds and topped with soya milk.
Snack 1/2 small tin of peaches with soya yoghurt and a Chocolate Egg Free Muffins
Lunch Healthy Falafel served with a salad of lettuce and tomato.
Snack
Dinner Gluten Free Pasta served with Tomato Pesto, pine nuts, onion, tomato and Dairy free parmesan cheese
Other
Food diary day 2 – Thursday, 30 July:
Breakfast Coconut Porridgemade with soya.
Snack Toasted Oats Snack served with soya yoghurt and 1/2 an apple.
Lunch Squash soup topped with pinenuts and three oatcakes.
Snack Spoon of Ginger Booja Booja and a few brazil nuts
Dinner 2 Gluten Free Sausages with salad of lettuce, pine nuts, cucumber, tomato served with Lime Pickle and steamed corn on cob. Then half a small shannon fruit.
Other Mug of hot soya and vanilla rice milk.
Food diary day 3 – Friday, 31 July
Breakfast Coconut Porridgemade with soya and rice milk with sprinkle of linseed.
Snack 3 oatcakes with Sugar free peanut butter
Lunch Half an avocado, some ham and salad of beetroot, lettuce and cucumber.
Snack Soya yoghurt with linwood seeds and a sprinkle of cocoa.
Dinner Jacket potato with dairy free spread a spoon of Tomato Pesto and a salad of beetroot, lettuce, cucumber and tomato. Then a scoop of Ginger Booja Booja and a sprinkle of Linwood seeds.
Other Pint of 100% tropical juice with water (70%).
Food diary day 4 – Saturday, 1 August
Breakfast Gluten Free Cornflakes with a spoonful of oats, linwood seeds and vanilla rice milk.
Snack Soya yoghurt with a cocoa sprinkle some nibs and linwood seeds.
Lunch Cafe Lunch: Jacket potato with a mixed salad.
Snack Soya yoghurt with a cocoa sprinkle some nibs, linwood seeds and 1/2 a banana.
Dinner Chip shop fish chips with homemade mushy peas and homemade ketchup.
Other Pint of sparkling water with 100% apple juice (20%)
Food diary day 5 – Sunday, 2 August
Breakfast Gluten Free Cornflakes with a spoonful of oats, linwood seeds and soya milk.
Snack 3 oatcakes with Sugar free peanut butter and an apple.
Lunch Sainsbury’s salad bar: rice and chickpea salad mix. Then a Wheat Free Bar.
Snack 1 carrot with homous, 2 baby tomatoes and a few pine nuts.
Dinner Corn spaghetti with bolognese: lamb mince, onion, carrot, beetroot, herbs and red pepper.
Other Mug of hot cocoa soya with agave nectar squeeze.
Food diary day 6 – Monday, 3 August
Breakfast Puffed rice cereal with a spoonful of oats, linwood seeds and soya milk.
Snack Soya yoghurt with a cocoa sprinkle some nibs, a few flaked almonds and linwood seeds.
Lunch Healthy Falafel served with a salad of lettuce, beetroot, pine nuts, cucumber and tomato. Then a Wheat Free Bar.
Snack Trail mix of: Gluten Free Cornflakes, nibs, flaked almonds and linwood seeds.
Dinner A pork chop with homemade apple and plum sauce and roasted vegetables: onion, carrot, potatoes, tomato, beetroot and herbs.
Other Mug of hot cocoa soya with coconut.
Food diary day 7 – Tuesday, 4 August
Breakfast Coconut Porridgemade with soya milk.
Snack
Lunch Left over lamb bolognese with steamed corn on the cob, salad of lettuce, beetroot, tomato and cucumber.
Snack Wheat Free Bar.
Dinner Noodle soup: Prawns, thick rice noodles, red pepper, chilli, spring onion and Thai spices. Small home made chocolate raw bar (made with coconut oil etc)
Other Hot oatly and vanilla rice milk with cinnamon.

NB. In my food diary I have not included all the water, mugs of Ginger tea and Licorice Tea I drink.
