Online Food Diary

Here’s my update for week 5 of my online food diary, had a taste for Gluten Free Pasta this week and the new vanilla Booja Booja.

My food restrictions are:
Sugar Free & Yeast Free (due to candida diet), intolerant to: gluten, dairy, eggs, some oily fish and cashew nuts.

NB. Also as part of a healthy balanced diet and to avoid energy lows I am aiming to eat 5 times a day; three main meals and two proper snacks (all of which must contain some protein). Each main meal needs to be eaten slowly with a balance of 1/4 carbs, 1/4 protein and 1/2 vegetables.

So here goes my latest online food diary:

Food diary day 1 – Wednesday, 15 July:
Breakfast Mixture of oats and Gluten Free Cornflakes with soya milk and sprinkle of linseed and dessicated coconut.
Snack Small Egg Free Muffins with soya yogurt, half a banana and a sprinkle of linseed and cocoa.
Lunch Salad: Lettuce, prawns, peas, pinenuts, 1/4 avocado, tomato, fresh thyme, radish and beetroot. 1 x Corn Thins with houmous.
Snack 1/2 of a banana
Dinner Roast chicken with roasted veggies (beetroot, radish, potato, carrot and onion) and leeks/courgette with a soya Dairy FREE white sauce. Then later 1/2 an apple.

Food diary day 2 – Thursday, 16 July:
Breakfast Mixture of oats and Gluten Free Cornflakes with oatly milk and sprinkle of linseed and pumpkin seeds.
Snack 1/2 a banana with soya yoghurt topped with seeds, coconut, few Gluten Free Cornflakes and a cocoa sprinkle.
Lunch Few slices of roast chicken  with small avocado, a tomato, few seeds, spoon of houmous, 2 oat cakes and some olives.
Snack
Dinner Gluten Free Pasta with sauce of chicken, beetroot, onion, roasted pepper and tomato. Topped with dairy free parmesan cheese
Other 2 pints of 100% apple juice with sparkling water (80% water) | mug of chai tea with vanilla rice milk and oatly.

 

Food diary day 3 – Friday, 17 July
Breakfast Bircher Muesli with oats, dessicated coconut, apple juice, mixed seeds, linseeds, a kiwi and a spoon of soya yoghurt.
Snack
Lunch Left over chicken Gluten Free Pasta with salad of lettuce, cucumber, mixed seeds and a few olives.
Snack A shannon fruit and a “Village Bakery” Wheat Free Bar.
Dinner Thai night: Thai Fish Cakes with dipping sauces and Chilli Beef Ramen with Thick Rice Noodles. Then 2 scoops of vanilla Booja Booja.

Food diary day 4 – Saturday, 18 June
Breakfast Mixture of oats and Gluten Free Cornflakes with soya milk and sprinkle of linseed and dessicated coconut.
Snack Soya yoghurt, 1/2 a banana, few raspberries and a dessicated coconut and linseed sprinkle.
Lunch Gluten free flat bread with a sauteed mixture of chickpeas, onion and pepper. Then a scoop of vanilla Booj Booja.
Snack 1/2 an apple and a “Village Bakery” Wheat Free Bar.
Dinner Garden party: Salmon, mixed salad and some olives. Then a handful of grapes.
Other 2 pints of apple juice with sparkling water (80% water)

 

Food diary day 5 – Sunday, 19 July
Breakfast Mixture of oats and Gluten Free Cornflakes with soya milk, sprinkle of linseed and dessicated coconut
Snack
Lunch Salad with homemade guacamole, few Anglesey plain crisps, a steamed corn of the cob. Then a scoop of vanilla Booja Booja with dessicated coconut and cocoa sprinkle.
Snack 1/2 an apple, few raspberries, some Gluten Free Cornflakes, linseed and spoon of soya yoghurt.
Dinner Gluten free spaghetti with bolognese sauce: lamb mince, beetroot, onion, pepper, tomato and black eyed beans. Topped with dairy free parmesan cheese. Then a few cubes of frozen pineapple and a scoop of vanilla Booja Booja.
Other Mug of hot soya.

 

Food diary day 6 – Monday, 20 June
Breakfast Mixture of oats and Gluten Free Cornflakes with soya milk, sprinkle of linseed and dessicated coconut
Snack 1/2 small tin of peaches in juice with soya yoghurt and a cocoa sprinkle. 
Lunch Sardines in tomato sauce with few chunks of cucumber, pine nus and 4 corn thins with dairy free spread. 
Snack  –
Dinner With left over lamb mince sauce added some spice to make a chilli, with brown rice, few corn chips and salad. Then a scoop of booja booja with cocoa sprinkle and 1/2 an apple.
Other Mug of hot cocoa soya. 

 

Food diary day 7 – Tuesday, 21 July
Breakfast Mixture of oats and Gluten Free Cornflakes with soya milk, sprinkle of linseed and pumpkin seeds.
Snack  –
Lunch 4 oat cakes with houmous and a salad of tomato, pine nuts and cucumber. Then half a small tin of peaches in juice with soya yoghurt, and a cocoa and linseed sprinkle.
Snack 2 oat cakes with Sugar free peanut butter and half an apple.
Dinner Gluten free pasta with Tomato Pesto, pine nuts and linseed sprinkle. Then a few cubes of frozen pineapple and some brazil nuts.
Other Mug of cocoa soya.

NB. In my online food diary I have not included all the water and mugs of Ginger tea I drink.

This week  on my online food diary week I tried a few new recipes that I need to test again then will add to the site and also got some great products I will update on the website too.
