OK this might seem random but as I was tagging a post yesterday as “Dairy FREE”, for a recipe that had egg in and I was thinking…is an egg dairy. So I checked it out…and there is some confusion on this matter, so I am glad I did. People thinking egg is meat and all sorts.

This is the best way I can sum up my ten minutes of researching: 

Definition of dairy – “relating to milk or milk products”.

So as first thought egg is not dairy. So hurrah for that.
