Tomato pesto
Tomato pesto ingredients:
- Semi Dried Tomatoes (50%)
- Chopped Tomatoes (20.8%)
- Olive Oil
- Chopped Carrots
- Chopped Garlic
- Pine Nutes
- Fresh Basil
- Sea Salt
- Oregano
I stumbled upon this Tomato Pesto on one of my treat shopping trips to Waitrose and to my amazement it was Free From all my food intolerances.
Being on a diet full of food intolerances I have to mainly cook my food from scratch so this pesto is a great addition to my store cupboard ingreidents.
For a quick dish mix the Tomato Pesto into pasta, add to breads to flavour or slice some chicken breasts and stuff with a spoon of the tomato pesto and some suitable breadcrumbs, then bake for 25ish mins - delicious.

This pesto is gorgeous!
I, like you, have to make most things from scratch to ensure that there’s nothing in them that shouldn’t be. But this stuff tastes amazing and isn’t full of crap. Also, it’s only £1 in Asda at the moment and I’m not sure I could make it that cheaply from scratch anyway so I’ve been stocking up! They make pasta sauces as well that look just as nice and aren’t stuffed full of sugar, etc (also £1 in Asda). It’s refreshing to see a product like this.
